WARWICK – Rhode Island mobile Web solutions company MoFuse Inc. has been acquired by The Search Agency, a global online marketing firm headquartered in Los Angeles seeking to boost its mobile management offerings for small and local businesses.
As part of the acquisition, MoFuse will be folded into The Search Agency’s portfolio of companies and the MoFuse platform will be integrated into The Search Agency’s AdMax Local service, which helps paid-search resellers to price, build and manage hyper-local search campaigns for multiple businesses.
With the addition of MoFuse, The Search Agency will expand its service to allow marketers to build and drive traffic to businesses’ mobile sites, and will also improve Admax Local tracking functionality for better understanding of where to focus digital marketing strategies.
“We share The Search Agency’s vision to align all digital marketing capabilities into a one-stop-shop – from the creation of engaging mobile Web experiences to the mechanisms that drive action,” said Annette Tonti, CEO of MoFuse, in a statement. “Together, MoFuse and AdMax Local can now provide a single platform for businesses to maximize their online marketing strategies across multiple platforms.”
A spokesperson for The Search Agency did not immediately respond to calls regarding whether any staffing changes are expected at MoFuse following the acquisition, or whether the company will remain at its current Warwick location.
