PROVIDENCE – On Feb. 18, software development agency MojoTech officially celebrated the opening of its new downtown office at 56 Exchange Terrace with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by local officials and congressional delegates.
Founded in 2008, MojoTech creates full-featured Web and mobile apps on behalf of its clients, which range from startups and aspiring startups to Fortune 100 companies. In 2013, MojoTech launched a branch office in New York to cater to the slew of clients it serves there, but founder and CEO Nick Kishfy has said he expects MojoTech to remain headquartered in Providence for the foreseeable future.
U.S. Sens. Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse, U.S. Reps. James R. Langevin and David N. Cicilline, Providence Mayor Angel Taveras, R.I. General Treasurer Gina M. Raimondo and Providence City Council President Michael Solomon were among the officials in attendance at the ribbon-cutting, which was followed by a tour of the office space.
“MojoTech is thrilled to continue to grow and drive tech innovation from our new office in the heart of downtown Providence,” said Kishfy.
MojoTech has risen from a startup on Kishfy’s patio in 2008 to a $2.4 million business in 2012, and last year MojoTech was named one of PBN’s fastest-growing Rhode Island companies.
