THE CHAMPLIN Foundations has awarded the New England Institute of Technology an approximately $155,000 grant to purchase laboratory equipment.

EAST GREENWICH – The Champlin Foundations has awarded the New England Institute of Technology $155,570 to purchase laboratory equipment for its medical laboratory technology and electrical engineering technology programs.

“This grant will allow New England Tech to further enhance our high-tech laboratories, giving students the opportunity to learn the necessary skills required in their field of study utilizing cutting-edge equipment,” Douglas H. Sherman, senior vice president and provost at New England Institute of Technology, said in a statement.

“We are very grateful to The Champlin Foundations for their continued generosity in supporting New England Tech’s mission of providing our students with a quality hands-on technical education,” Sherman continued.

New England Institute of Technology, a private, nonprofit technical college, has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students.
