EAST GREENWICH – New England Institute of Technology, which has frozen tuition for more than three decades, renewed its tuition freeze Wednesday for students enrolling by Jan. 1.
Tuition at NEIT ranges anywhere from $16,000 to $22,995 depending on the academic program for the 2015-2016 academic year, a spokeswoman said. Students who enroll in any one of the college’s more than 50 associate or bachelor degree programs and remain enrolled until graduation will have their tuition frozen for their entire course of study at NEIT.
Most associate degree programs are designed to be completed in 18 months, while bachelor degree programs may be completed in three years, the school said.
“Students will not only save money,” said Seth Kurn, executive vice president, “but they can plan the financing of their education more effectively by being exempt from any tuition increase. Student success is one of New England Tech’s primary goals. By assisting students with their financial needs, we can help them stay on the path to graduation.”
