Nano-medicine firm to set up shop in Boston

BOSTON – Gov. Deval L. Patrick announced that Nanobiotix, a clinical-stage nano-medicine company pioneering new approaches for the local treatment of cancer, will open its first U.S. office in the Massachusetts capital, according to a statement from his office.
Nanobiotix is focused on the development of NanoXray, a line of products that are based on a “physical mechanism of action,” according to the statement. The firm’s products are built on the existing standard of care and can be used with existing radiation equipment available in most hospitals worldwide. •
