Navigant opens Slatersville branch

NORTH SMITHFIELD – Navigant Credit Union, Rhode Island’s oldest credit union, held a grand opening on June 18 for its 16th branch at 925 Victory Highway in the Slatersville section of North Smithfield.
The branch opened in late May. Maria Dias is the branch manager.
“This is an exciting time for Navigant Credit Union as we open the doors of a new branch and expand our network to new market areas such as North Smithfield, Burrillville, Pascoag and Harrisville,” Navigant Credit Union President and CEO Gary Furtado said in a statement. “We look forward to extending our services, which for more than 100 years have been rooted in trust, financial expertise and a deep commitment to the communities we serve, to a wider range of local members.”
Navigant Credit Union has more than $1.6 million in assets, 66,000 members and now 16 branch locations.
