NEWPORT – Newport Hospital will offer a community lecture on coping with menopause on March 22 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Obstetrician/gynecologist Dr. Ginny Bass will discuss ways women can manage the symptoms of menopause.
“Menopause can be a difficult time for many women but understanding what to expect and taking steps to manage menopausal symptoms can be beneficial, both physically and emotionally,” said Bass, in a press release.
Newport Hospital’s community lecture series offers members of the community an opportunity to learn more about health issues and engage with hospital clinicians. The free lecture will be held in Newport Hospital’s Gudoian Conference Room, just off the main lobby of the hospital at 11 Friendship St.
