Where do you see yourself professionally in 10 years?
I tell myself that I want to be retired by the time I’m 40 and living off the massively successful production empire that I built in my 30s. Barring that, I see myself running a production company that can successfully finance and produce quality films made here in Rhode Island and distributed internationally.
What’s the best career advice you’ve received?
Don’t spend your entire life working. Don’t get me wrong, when I’m in production on a film there are still days or weeks when I don’t exist to the rest of the world, but knowing when to push the work hours and when not to has been hugely beneficial.
What advice would you give your 22-year-old self?
Prioritize. And get everything in writing, no matter what it is or who you’re dealing with.
What is your favorite Rhode Island escape or hobby?
Dining in many of Rhode Island’s amazing restaurants.
How do you keep a work-life balance?
Schedule personal time like it’s work and stick to it.
