Old Colony Habitat for Humanity to open ReStore

ATTLEBORO, Mass. – Old Colony Habitat for Humanity, which serves Bristol and Norfolk counties, will open a new ReStore site at 9 Washington St., Attleboro. The opening is scheduled for Feb. 20.
The store accepts donations of new and (gently) used building materials, furniture, kitchen cabinets and appliances for resale to the public at discounted prices. Donations come from retail stores, hotels and other businesses, as well as individual homeowners.
Funds generated by the ReStore will help Old Colony Habitat for Humanity increase the number of affordable homes built in its service area, including Attleboro.
Donations can be dropped off at the store or customers who call can arrange for pickup. The ReStore will be open Wednesdays through Saturday. All items will be cleaned and tested before being offered for sale.
