PROVIDENCE – The Providence Performing Arts Center announced its 2012-2013 season on Wednesday.

PPAC’s seven-show, 35th anniversary Broadway season includes performances of “Catch Me if You Can,” “Elf,” “Memphis,” “Jekyll & Hyde,” “Million Dollar Quartet,” “Sister Act” and “War Horse.”

The playhouse’s 2012-2013 Contemporary Classics series features a three-week return of “Jersey Boys” and five performances each for “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Peter Pan.”

“American Idiot” and “Blue Man Group” are also coming to PPAC as Broadway specials.
