Partnership names Pawtucket Boys & Girls Club premiere member

PAWTUCKET – The R.I. Mentoring Partnership, nonprofit supporting mentoring programs statewide, has named the Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket as a premier member, which recognizes that the club adheres to the partnership’s newly implemented quality standards membership program.

“So many children in our communities can benefit from having a mentor,” said Jo-Ann Schofield, president and chief operating officer of the R.I. Mentoring Partnership, in a statement. “By implementing quality standards membership, RIMP now has the ability to identify programs…which will go above and beyond the call of duty to provide a top-notch mentoring experience for the children they serve.”

The membership program serves to help prospective members sand the public to find a mentoring program that is meeting or exceeding expectations.

The Boys & Girls Club of Pawtucket has been aligned with the R.I. Mentoring Partnership, which was founded in 1990 and provides training for mentors and mentor program coordinators, for two years.
