Peregrine merges with Byer Gallo

EAST PROVIDENCE – Peregrine Group LLC has merged with Boston consulting firm Byer Gallo Associates LLC, Peregrine announced Monday.

With the merger, Byer Gallo Principal Beverly Gallo will join Peregrine as a full partner and help launch the Urban Initiative, a new segment of the business focused on residential development in emerging urban markets.

Financial terms of the deal were not released.

The Urban Initiative will “focus specifically on project management and investment in properties located in emerging, transitional and underdeveloped urban neighborhoods,” according to a news release from Peregrine announcing the deal Monday.

Peregrine Partner Colin Kane said Gallo’s addition would give the firm a valuable presence in the Boston market.

“Beverly Gallo brings 25 years of professional experience in the fields of design, construction and real estate development,” the release said. “Her unique combination of business and community-based development skills has served to bring together challenging mixed-use/mixed-income development projects in communities large and small.”
