INAUGURAL WALK FOR WISHES

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Massachusetts and Rhode Island will host its first Walk for Wishes on Sunday, March 25, in the Warwick Mall, 400 Bald Hill Road, Warwick. Registration will take place from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., and participants can walk from 9 to 11 a.m. General registration is $25 for adults, $10 for youth 12 and under. BINGO BENEFIT

The Calabrese Club at 28 Pleasant St., Westerly, will serve as the venue for the 8th Annual Bunch of Nuts Bingo event on Wednesday, March 28. Participants will have the chance to win raffles from Granite Theater, Lake of Isles (Foxwoods), Pampered Chef and more. Doors open at 5 p.m., and the games begin at 6:30 p.m. Admission: $10, includes 10 games of bingo. All proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society. FASHION SHOW

Special Olympics Rhode Island will present the 22nd Annual Special Olympics Fashion Show from 5:45 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 29. The “Under the Tuscan Sun”-themed event will be held at the Twin River Event Center, 100 Twin River Road, Lincoln. It will include a reception and dinner, followed by the show. CHARITY REVOLUTION

Cuban Revolution Restaurant & Bar will host its next CharityRevolution event at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 29, to benefit Clinica Esperanza/Hope Clinic. The volunteer-run medical clinic was founded in 2007 and opened its permanent facility in Olneyville, where it works with other local organizations to help provide timely, effective health care resources to the community. The event will be held at Cuban Revolution’s 60 Valley St., Providence, location. Admission: $5 donation; $5 raffle tickets will also be available for purchase. URI WALK FOR HABITAT

The University of Rhode Island is hosting the Pound the Pavement, Pound the Nail Walk from noon to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 31. The two-mile walk will raise money for South County Habitat for Humanity. Fundraisers will have the opportunity to enter raffles for a variety of prizes. The walk will begin on the Quadrangle at URI’s Kingston Campus, 45 Upper College Road, South Kingstown. Cost: free and open to the public; fundraising strongly encouraged.
