MAKE A SPLASH

Gallery Nigh Providence will host its summer fundraiser, Art Splash, Saturday, July 21 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Regency Plaza Apartments pool area, 1 Regency Plaza, Providence. The pool party will feature local artists and galleries selling their creations, a silent auction and door prizes. Entertainment will be provided by steel drummer Aaron Cote and TEN31 Productions, with food from Whole Foods, LaSalle Bakery and Garden Grille/Wildflour. A cash bar will be available. NEIT GOLF TOURNAMENT

The New England Institute of Technology will host its third annual alumni golf tournament Friday, July 27 at the Swansea Country Club, 299 Market St., Swansea. NEIT alumni, faculty, staff, students and friends of the college are invited to participate as players and sponsors. Tournament check-in will begin at 10 a.m., with tee-off at 11 a.m. Proceeds will go toward scholarships and textbooks for students in need. Tickets: $135 per golfer. Ally Coulter and J. Brian O’Neill will host a penthouse party to benefit Child and Family’s Ophelia Programs on Saturday, July 28 from 7 p.m. to midnight at the Tower at Carnegie Abbey, 125 Corys Lane, Portsmouth. The night will feature hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, music and dancing, with a fashion show by Badgley Mischka. PIG ROAST FOR EASTER SEALS

Hanson’s Pub will host a pig roast fundraiser to benefit Easter Seals Rhode Island Sunday, Aug. 5 at the pub, 210 Salt Pond Road, Wakefield. The roast will start at 2 p.m. and continue through 9 p.m. Live music will be provided by Ted and Ed. Food selections include freshly roasted pig prepared by Papi’s Pig Roast, trimmings, baked beans, cole slaw, cornbread, potato salad and cake. Tickets: $50 per person. MS. WHEELCHAIR PAGEANT

The Ms. Wheelchair Rhode Island Foundation and the Ms. Wheelchair Massachusetts Foundation will host the Ms. Wheelchair America 2013 pageant and leadership institute Monday Aug. 6 through Sunday Aug. 12 at the Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel, 5 Avenue of the Arts, Providence. The event will bring more than 35 Ms. Wheelchair state titleholders from around the country to compete for the national title based on advocacy, achievement, communication and presentation. The community is invited to attend the platform speech presentation Friday, Aug. 10 at 6:45 p.m. and the crowning ceremony on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 4 p.m. Tickets: $10 per event.
