The 10th annual Edd Pedro’s Fight for a Cure Wiffleball Tournament will be held on Sunday, Aug. 11, from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Slater Memorial Park, Newport Avenue, Pawtucket. Over 100 prizes will be given away and food and music will be provided. Former Boston Red Sox pitcher, Dennis Ray “Oil Can” Boyd will be at the event. All proceeds will go towards the Arthritis Foundation to help find a cure to juvenile arthritis. The Rhode Island Blood Center will also hold a blood drive at the event.
