MASQUERADE BALL
Caritas Smile will host an all white masquerade ball on Sunday, Nov. 10 from 6 to 11 p.m. at Farre Line Club, 200 Allens Ave., Providence. The event will benefit the women and children of the Dominican Republic and will feature live entertainment, art, dancing, food and music. All white attire and masquerade mask required. ART SHOW & SILENT AUCTION
Child & Family and Adoption Rhode Island will host a fundraising event on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Child and Family, Vera Mason Community Room, 31 John Clarke Road, Middletown. Artworks created by youth in foster care will be for sale and proceeds will benefit Groovy Girls and Dream Chasers, programs designed to help empower youth in out-of-home placements. SPIRIT OF HOME CELEBRATION
Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage Cares will host the 13th annual Spirit of Home Awards celebration and fundraiser on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Providence Art Club, 11 Thomas St., Providence. The event will feature hors d’oeuvres, wine, beer, a cash bar for cocktails, silent auction and awards presentation. A local resident will be presented with the Community Cares Spirit Award, which recognizes individuals whose work positively impacts the homeless. BEER TASTING FUNDRAISER
The Varnum Continentals will host the fourth annual autumn beer tasting from 7 to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Varnum Memorial Armory, 6 Main St., East Greenwich. The event will feature a wide range of artisan beers and light appetizers. Tours of the armory’s world-class collection of military memorabilia and armaments will also be offered. The National Multiple Sclerosis Society will host its fourth annual MS Holiday Bazaar from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 at the Shriner’s Masonic Center, One Rhodes Place, Cranston. The event will feature local vendors selling holiday gifts, jewelry, baskets, baby clothes, greeting cards, gourmet foods, artwork, and more.
