FREETOWN – Electrical and millwright services have been added to Piping Systems Inc., a mechanical contractor and piping solutions provider.
“We’ve had an increasing number of inquiries over time about whether we can help our customers with electrical and millwright, so when the opportunity came along to add these services for our customers, we made it a priority. Our goal has always been to put our customers first,” Pauline Lally, Piping Systems owner, said in a statement.
The company has hired Victor Silva, who will serve as its new electrical and millwright technician, as part of the expansion of services.
Because Silva is a master electrician, Piping Systems will be able to handle water flow testing – a part of the current fire protection testing services – without customers having to arrange to have a fire alarm technician on site during testing.
“We don’t want to be viewed just as a vendor,” Lally said. “We want to be a partner and solutions provider to our customers. The addition of Victor and the capabilities he adds to our business will only help solidify that commitment to our customers.”
Piping Systems, founded in 1971, specializes in process piping, plumbing, heating, ventilation and air conditioning, boilers and fire protection.
