Planned Parenthood adds new treatments

PROVIDENCE – Planned Parenthood of Southern New England is providing new health care services at the Providence Health Center at 111 Point St. Illnesses being treated at the location include: colds, the flu, ear infections, sinus infections, seasonal allergies and strep throat.
“We are growing and it is truly exciting. From bronchitis to breast exams, Planned Parenthood is committed to keeping our patients healthy, head to toe,” said Judy Tabar president & CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southern New England.
The center also intends to add services that include the treatment of common skin conditions like acne, fungal infections, insect bites and poison ivy. The center will also provide work and school physical exams, treatment of gastrointestinal conditions such as constipation, reflux and hemorrhoids, and musculoskeletal complaints, such as back pain and carpal tunnel. •
