POLARIS MEP is launching its second All Access Bus Tour on Dec. 8

PROVIDENCE – Polaris MEP, a division of the University of Rhode Island Research Foundation, is launching its second All Access Bus Tour on Dec. 8, visiting Hope Global in Cumberland and Parmatech Proform Corp. in East Providence.
The purpose of the tour is to “showcase excellence in manufacturing” in Rhode Island, according to Polaris MEP, which said participants will see firsthand how the companies have been successful.
The event will begin at 7:30 a.m., as participants will gather at Parmatech for a continental breakfast and remarks by Christian Cowan, executive director of Polaris, and Stefan Pryor, R.I.’s secretary of commerce, as well as a plant tour, before departing for Hope Global.
Cost is $20 to attend and seats are limited. For more information, visit Polaris MEP’s website at polarismep.org.
The first bus tour was held in September.
