Procaccianti announces Sacco to grow affiliate

CRANSTON – Hospitality-development company The Procaccianti Group last week announced that industry veteran Paul Sacco has joined the company as chief development officer to grow its hospitality-management affiliate, TPG Hospitality.
Cranston-based Procaccianti and its management affiliate TPG Hospitality have recently completed multiple large transactions, including the acquisition of the Westin Chicago North Shore, and have been awarded several management contracts, including the Hilton Kansas City Airport, the Hilton San Antonio and the DoubleTree North Shore in Danvers, Mass. Procaccianti also said it has commenced development of several new hotels, including the Hyatt House at Georgia Aquarium and the Hampton Inn & Suites in San Jose.
Sacco joins the company after tenures with Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Pyramid Hotel Group. Procaccianti said Paul will concentrate on expanding TPG Hospitality’s presence throughout North America by leading initiatives in securing management contracts and other hotel-development opportunities.
Locally, Procaccianti owns the Renaissance Providence, the Hilton Providence and the Wyndham Garden Inn in Providence; the Sheraton Providence Airport Hotel and the Comfort Inn Airport Warwick in Warwick; the Holiday Inn South Kingstown; and the Ocean Rose Inn and the Lighthouse Inn in Narragansett. •
