Quonset Business Park will hold monthly job fair

NORTH KINGSTOWN – The Quonset Business Park will be the site for a free, public monthly job fair, according to the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training.
The job fair will host nine employers on Nov. 5 from 10 a.m. to noon, and future fairs will also be on Wednesdays, the DLT said. The park is located at 95 Cripe St.
The DLT’s Business Workforce Center is collaborating with the Quonset Development Corporation, the Workforce Partnership of Greater RI and the Workforce Solutions of Providence/Cranston to offer the fairs.
“With nearly 10,000 jobs at over 175 great Rhode Island companies, Quonset is one of the leading engines of job growth and economic development in Rhode Island,” said DLT Director Charles J. Fogarty. “We are pleased to partner with them to let all Rhode Islanders know about the many career opportunities at Quonset.”
Employers scheduled to attend Wednesday’s job fair include: LJM Packaging Company; Electric Boat; Hexagon Metrology, Inc.; Toray Plastics; Ocean State Job Lot; Banneker Industries; Home Instead Senior Care; Tradesmen International and Corporate Colleague Connections, LLC.
