PROVIDENCE – Governor Gina M. Raimondo said she plans to nominate Shannon Brawley, Martha Holt Castle, Scot Jones and Guillaume de Ramel to the Quonset Development Corp.’s board of directors.

The names will be submitted to the Senate for confirmation.

“The Quonset Development Corp. is a tremendous asset to Rhode Island and a great example of how we can attract new businesses and grow more jobs in our state,” Raimondo said in a statement. “Shannon, Martha, Scot and Guillaume understand my goal of reigniting our economy and will support Quonset Development Corp.’s work to make investments that will expand opportunities for Rhode Island families.”

Jones said that as a Rhode Island-based manufacturer – he is CEO/owner of Groov-Pin Corp. – he is “honored and excited to become a board member.”
“I am passionate about rebuilding Rhode Island’s manufacturing base. I look forward to helping QDC live out their mission to be a catalyst for economic development in Rhode Island,” Jones said.
