Real Jobs Rhode Island grant proposals due Friday

PROPOSALS FOR  Real Jobs Rhode Island grants are due Friday, no later than 3 p.m.
TWELVE companies have been awarded partnerships with Real Jobs Rhode Island.

CRANSTON – Proposals for Real Jobs Rhode Island grants are due Friday, no later than 3 p.m.

Proposals must be received by Real Jobs Rhode Island staff at the R.I. Department of Labor and Training at 1511 Pontiac Ave. If the proposal submission is mailed, it must be postmarked no later than 3 p.m., but hand delivery is preferred. Proposals will not be accepted by email or fax.

The new $1.3 million grant program will focus on employers’ needs in cultivating a stronger workforce to jump-start the Rhode Island economy, Gov. Gina M. Raimondo has said.

In addition, the award date for the planning grant proposals has been changed to July 31, the same date that the solicitation for implementation grant proposals will be released.
