WEST WARWICK – West Valley Inn, a landmark Rhode Island restaurant for more than 30 years, is closing, according to WJAR-TV NBC 10.
Contacted by phone, catering manager Debbie Correia said the restaurant has no comment, that they are talking to a lawyer and that there may be a statement later this week.
A post on West Valley Inn’s Facebook page said “take out and family style will be open for business till further notice.”
The banquet facility at 4 Blossom St. also offers catering and a family-style restaurant on Thursdays and Sundays.
According to loopnet.com, West Valley Inn’s two buildings are for sale, one a 30,000-square-foot building for $1.1 million and another a 19,000-square-foot building for $650,000. They sit on just under 12 acres.
“Please be discreet as this is an operating business, all contact thru agent,” the description of the facility on loopnet.com reads.
