Public recognition at town halls (leader to staff, peer to peer, staff to leader); call outs at board and staff meetings; “On-the-Spot” awards of $100; colleagues nominating people for external awards recognizing achievement; personal, hand-written notes and cards from the CEO; promotions; ringing a bell that calls all employees to a central location in the building so that individuals and teams can be recognized and their achievements celebrated.
