ATTLEBORO – Richline Group Inc. successfully completed the purchase of Cookson Precious Metals/Material Products Group, the company announced earlier this month.

The newly formed company, which includes Stern Metals, General Findings and Excell, will operate under the name LeachGarner, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. As part of the agreement, Richline also purchased Inverness Corp., formerly a division of Cookson Precious Metals/Materials Group.

“Under our new corporate identity as LeachGarner … we will have created an independent manufacturer of all essential materials … mill, findings and chain,” Joe White, LeachGarner’s president, said in a news release. “The melding of our experienced, talented people is the foundation upon which we intend to build a new success and a boundless potential for the future.”

Stern Metals, formerly known as Stern-Leach, is the company’s fabricated gold, gold-filled and silver mill and alloys brand. General Findings is “the industry’s prime source for precious-metal beads and findings,” according to the company.

“As a LeachGarner brand, General Findings will present the best selection of product offerings from our Hallmark Sweet and Prime Time lines,” said the release.

“LeachGarner is dedicated, with a renewed commitment, to supplying products and services that are a cornerstone of the jewelry industry” said Managing Director Joe Esposito.

“The fully integrated product offering of LeachGarner will present the industry’s most extensive line of raw materials, findings, beads and chain,” Esposito added.

Inverness – an alternative ear piercing procedure – will operate as an independent division of Richline under the name of Inverness, a Berkshire Hathaway Company.
