Rockland names Dewsnap VP

PROVIDENCE – Rockland Trust Co. last month announced the appointment of a veteran financial planner to its Providence team.
Susan Dewsnap has joined Rockland Trust’s Investment Management Group as its vice president and relationship manager, according to a press release.
Dewsnap is a certified financial planner and certified divorce financial analyst with more than 20 years of experience in wealth and financial management, according to the release. She will be headquartered in Providence and provide services for the Ocean State and Massachusetts markets.
Prior to joining Rockland Trust, Dewsnap worked as a senior vice president at Wealth Management Resources Inc. for six years. She also founded Equitable Divorce Solutions LLC working with divorcing couples in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
She also served as manager of financial planning at Hasbro Inc., senior financial manager at Polaroid and held management roles at several other companies.
Dewsnap has a B.A. in finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and an MBA from Bentley University.
