SBA calling for nominations for 2016 awards program

THE U.S. SMALL BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION has put out the call for nominations for its 2016 awards program, including for National Small Business Person of the Year.

PROVIDENCE – It’s that time of year again.

The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Rhode Island office is seeking nominations for the 2016 National Small Business Person of the Year and Exporter of the Year, among several other awards.

Those interested in nominating an individual or an entity for an award should visit the SBA’s website. Nominations are due by 3 p.m. on Jan. 11 either online or at the Rhode Island district office, located at 380 Westminster St. in Providence.
