SEA Corp. wins $12M contract to support NUWC sub work

MIDDLETOWN – Systems Engineering Associates Corp. received a five-year, $12 million contract from Newport’s Naval Undersea Warfare Center to support its combat systems department.

Through the contract, SEA Corp. will provide support services in engineering, design, and test and evaluation.

According to a news release issued Wednesday, this award represents new work for SEA CORP in key areas that the company has been working in for more than 30 years.

SEA Corp. will coordinate services to NUWC,, and it will work with subcontractors including Digital Diagnostics Inc., McLaughlin Research Corp., Rite Solutions and URS/AECOM.

“SEA Corp. is glad to have the opportunity to support NUWC and the Virginia class [submarine] program. This new contract is a result of the hard work of SEA Corp. personnel in our core business areas of systems engineering and test and evaluation of submarine non-propulsion electronics systems,” Dave Cadorette, SEA Corp.’s vice president for business development, said in a statement.
