The Center for Women and Enterprise will offer a workshop on speaking with power and confidence from 10 a.m. to noon at its Providence Office, 132 George M. Cohan Blvd., 2nd floor, Providence.

Those who attend will learn how to capitalize on business and career growth opportunities. Topics include overcoming public-speaking anxiety, using speaking as an effective tool and discovering strengths as a public presenter.

Cost: Free and open to the public. Those interested are asked to register prior to the event.
