Schneider receives excellence award

PROVIDENCE – Graybar, a supply-chain management and logistics service and distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products, announced Monday that it has honored Schneider Electric with its Graybar Supplier Excellence Award.
The award, presented at Graybar’s National Training Conference in Phoenix, recognizes Schneider Electric as a product manufacturer whose collaboration with Graybar has been exceptionally successful in growing business for both companies.
“We are excited to present this honor to Schneider Electric,” said Kathleen M. Mazzarella, chairman, president and CEO of Graybar, in a release. “The relationship between Graybar and Schneider Electric dates back to 1902, when they provided us with industrial switches to sell to our customers. Today, Schneider Electric is a global specialist in energy management and offers integrated solutions across multiple markets, and their support to Graybar is unmatched.” Schneider Electric, a multinational company specializing in energy management and distribution with offices in West Kingston and West Warwick, aims to make energy safe, efficient and green. In 2012, the company achieved net sales of $30.8 billion.
