Sensata CEO Sullivan made $5.4M last year

ATTLEBORO – Martha Sullivan, president and CEO of Sensata Technologies Holding N.V., received a 3.5 percent increase in her total compensation package last year, to approximately $5.4 million.
The company, which manufactures sensing, electrical protection, and control and power management solutions, released its proxy statement this week in advance of the annual shareholders’ meeting on May 19.
It said Sullivan’s base salary grew to $792,501 last year compared with $718,753 in 2014, and was boosted by nearly $4 million in stock and option awards, as well as a $624,698 incentive bonus. Her pension value and non-qualified deferred compensation earnings fell to $57,938 from $228,609 a year earlier.
It also listed compensation for the four next-highest paid executives at the company:

  • Paul Vasington, executive vice president, chief financial officer, $1.8 million, a drop from nearly $4 million in 2014
  • Jeffrey Cote, executive vice president, sensing solutions, chief operating officer, $2.4 million, basically unchanged from 2014
  • Steven Beringhause, executive vice president, performance sensing, chief technology officer, $1.8 million, a drop from $1.9 million in 2014
  • Martin Carter, senior vice president, sensing solutions, $1.5 million, an increase from $1.4 million in 2014

Sensata reported a 214.4 percent jump in profit in the fourth quarter, and 22.5 percent increase in profit overall in 2015.
Fourth-quarter profit was $218.3 million, or $1.27 per diluted share, while for the full year, profit climbed to $347.7 million, or $2.03 per diluted share.
Fourth-quarter revenue increased 3 percent to $726.5 million. Full-year revenue grew 23.5 percent to $2.975 billion.
