ShapeUp announces winners of Social Wellness awards

PROVIDENCE – ShapeUp Inc., a global provider of social networking and incentives-based employee-wellness solutions, has announced the winners of its 2014 Social Wellness Awards, which are given to employers that use the power of social networks to engage employees in their health.

The grand prize winner was Bank of America. The North Carolina company was honored along with category winners Laird, Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in North Carolina, 1-800-Flowers, Hasbro Inc. in Pawtucket and Brown University in Providence.

ShapeUp also has established the Social Wellness Hall of Fame to celebrate past winners. The first class of inductees includes Capital One, Herman Miller and Hewlett-Packard.
