Smooth sailing for SSV Perry

The hull of SSV Oliver Hazard Perry is towed to its new home at Senesco Marine in North Kingstown by Reagan Construction Corp. on Dec. 12. The nonprofit Oliver Hazard Perry Rhode Island will continue building the 196-foot, steel-hulled ship at Senesco. The major work to come includes fabrication of fuel tanks, installation of the lower deck and machinery, fabrication of new topsides, weather deck, bulwarks, transom and other work.
