Something Fishy, Jordan’s Furniture, forming partnership to offer aquarium furniture

WARWICK – Jordan’s Furniture and Something Fishy have joined forces to offer customers aquarium furniture made in Rhode Island.

On Thursday, Kurt Harrington, CEO of Something Fishy Inc., along with Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian and Stephen Coan, CEO of Mystic Aquarium, will host a ceremony about the partnership, as well as Something Fishy’s growth, at Something Fishy’s 1185 Jefferson Blvd. location at 5 p.m.

What began as a childhood hobby of Harrington’s grew into a full-time business. He builds aquarium exhibits for commercial and residential clients, while also offering aquarium maintenance services.

His business clients include Foxwood’s Resort Casino, Mohegan Sun, Cabela’s, Yale New Haven Hospital, Mystic Aquarium and Google.

Jordan’s Furniture has a store at the Warwick Mall.

Something Fishy will launch the aquarium furniture line in Jordan’s original location in Reading, Mass. on March 1; the line will debut in the remaining stores in the coming months.
