PROVIDENCE – On May 18, business and civic leaders met in Westerly to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of South County Health’s newest Medical & Wellness Center. More than 200 individuals, including South County Health President and CEO Lou Giancola; Dr. Robert Gianfrocco, medical director of the center’s urgent/walk-in care; Westerly town Manager Derrik Kennedy and State Reps. Dennis Algiere, Blake Filippi and Brian Patrick Kennedy, as well as dozens of other civic and business leaders and neighbors, attended the celebration.

Many individuals stayed on to tour the two-story, 32,000-square-foot building, which opens May 23. It will offer a wide array of medical services, including primary care, orthopedics, cardiology, dermatology, OB-GYN, diabetes management, physical therapy, lab, mammography, X-rays and more. The site will be open seven days a week.
