SOUTH KINGSTOWN – Effective Sept. 1, South County Quality Care, a private-duty home-care agency that has been part of South County Health for 20 years, will become part of Cathleen Naughton Associates, a homecare agency. South County Health will maintain all of South County Quality Care’s patient records.
South County Quality Care notified clients by mail about the transition.
“It has been a pleasure and an honor to work with our clients,” Pam Jeffrey, president/chief executive officer of South County Quality Care, said in a South County Health press statement. “We appreciate the trust and loyalty the community has placed in us through the years and are confident Cathleen Naughton Associates will provide the same level of care.”
Accredited by the Joint Commission, Cathleen Naughton Associates has served the South County community for several years, and will offer employment to many South County Quality Care staff for continuity of care for current clients.
Through South County Home Health, South County Health will continue to provide certified home health care, including home visits by registered nurses, physical and occupational therapists and other disciplines. The South County Home Health services are recognized and reimbursed by Medicare and private insurers.
