WARWICK – Construction of St. Elizabeth Terrace, a 34-unit, affordable apartment building for seniors with low incomes, has been completed and the facility opened to its first residents Feb. 2, Saint Elizabeth Community announced.

The $5.2 million project on Warwick Neck Avenue was funded by a grant form the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

“We are grateful to all those involved in the project,” said Steven Horowitz, president and CEO of St. Elizabeth Community, “and especially grateful to the Board of Trustees of Saint Elizabeth Community and Cornerstone Adult Services for their vision and commitment to this project.”

Saint Elizabeth Terrace is fully rented with a waiting list and residents will be moving in through March.

Saint Elizabeth Community is a 501(c)(3) charity with 10 locations, including two nursing homes, an affordable,assisted-iving facility, five adult day are centers and two HUD apartment buildings. •
