St. George’s new science facility open for classes

MIDDLETOWN – Students at St. George’s School, a private, co-educational boarding school and day school for grades 9-12, resumed classes this month in a new science facility.
The 14-month project, which included 30,000 square feet in new construction and an 11,000-square-foot addition, was completed Sept. 7.
The building includes seven new biology, chemistry and physics labs, constructed as combination lab-classrooms. Thirteen new academic classrooms were a part of the renovation.
The work was completed by Shawmut Design and Construction.
