Saint Anne’s, Holy Family hospitals name new presidents

FALL RIVER – Saint Anne’s Hospital has named Michael Bushell, its current chief financial officer and vice president of operations, as its next president, effective Oct. 3. Craig Jesiolowski, Saint Anne’s current president, will become president of Holy Family Hospital, overseeing both its Methuen and Haverhill campuses, with a total of 385 beds in northern Massachusetts. Saint Anne’s and Holy Family hospitals are both part of the Steward Health Care System.

With Saint Anne’s Hospital since 1999, Bushell has overseen the expansions and renovations of its emergency and operating rooms, and spearheaded physician and business development.

Since 2010, when Jesiolowski became president of Saint Anne’s Hospital, the facility’s quality and safety have earned national and statewide recognition, the hospital reported. Jesiolowski led the hospital’s expansion, including the Center for Orthopedic Excellence and private patient rooms. At the same time, the hospital also formalized partnerships with key area physician groups, including PrimaCARE and Hawthorn Medical Associates, while enhancing the hospital’s workplace culture. At Holy Family Hospital, Jesiolowski plans to implement similar strategies; he begins his new position there on Oct. 3.
