WARWICK, R.I. – Hundreds of people attended a Stuff-A-Bus toy drive spearheaded by a Seekonk, Mass., car dealership on Dec. 5 and 6 at Toys ’R Us in support of the Toys for Tots Foundation.
Hosted by Pride Hyundai of Seekonk in coordination with the U.S. Marine Corps, 92 PRO-FM and HOT 106, the toy drive collected more than 1,700 toys and $2,000 in cash over two days. Pride Hyundai of Seekonk serves the greater Providence region.
“We look forward to Stuff-A-Bus each year with the [U.S.] Marine Corps because it’s a great way to give back to the community,” said Lisa Pariseault, owner of Pride Hyundai of Seekonk. “Our goal this year was to donate 1,000 toys and I’m so happy to report that we beat that number.”
Over the past three years, the car dealership has donated over 4,000 toys to the Toys for Tots Foundation through this event, along with partners 92 PRO-FM and HOT 106. Also, gifts from customers placed in donation boxes in the showroom are matched by the dealership.
For more information, visit the dealership at 11 Taunton Ave., Seekonk, or call 888-676-3598.
