Sung to serve on international body

PROVIDENCE – Dr. Vivian Sung, a urogynecologist at Women & Infants Hospital and an associate professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, has been tapped to serve on the International Urogynecological Association Terminology and Standardization Committee.

The committee has 10 members from around the world and is charged with developing, publishing, and managing international documents aimed at standardizing terminology, classification and outcomes within the field of female pelvic disorders.

Sung is the lead researcher for the Pelvic Floor Disorders Network grant awarded to eight sites around the country by the National Institutes of Health.
