SMITHFIELD – The eighth annual Supply Chain Management Summit will be held Aug. 20.

Banneker Industries will host the summit along with partner Bryant University. The two organizations have partnered on the seven previous Supply Chain Summits.
Cheryl W. Snead, Banneker Industries’ founder, president and CEO, came up with the idea for the summit, which brings together industry executives and experts. Leading supply chain strategies and best practices will be discussed; participants also will have networking opportunities.
Individuals who register for the 2015 Supply Chain Management Summit before May 31 will receive a discount on the registration fee. Early registrants can purchase an individual ticket for $149. After May 31, the registration fee is $199.
Full tables (10 seats) can be purchased for $1,200 and half-tables (5 seats) can be purchased for $600.
Sponsorship opportunities are also available in the following denominations: Platinum Sponsor, $7,500; Gold Sponsor, $5,000; Silver Sponsor $3,750; Bronze Sponsor, $2,500; and Badge Sponsor, $1,500.
“The Supply Chain Management Summit has been tremendously important to all of us at Banneker since 2008,” Snead said in a statement. “Our company’s vision – sharing knowledge, igniting ideas, building tomorrow’s networks today – reflects the spirit of the summit in which attendees from your company will learn from local, national and global companies that will provide an intimate look into their supply chain best practices, benchmarks, innovations, and challenges.”
The event will feature keynote addresses, a panel of top supply chain executives and multiple breakout sessions designed to encourage discussions about supply chain challenges and solutions.
Supply Chain Management Summit participants also qualify for six continuing educational hours for re/certification to ISM for certified professional in supply management (C.P.S.M.), certified purchasing manager (C.P.M.) or accredited purchasing practitioner (A.P.P.).
