TD Bank hires 2 for wealth-management division

PROVIDENCE – TD Bank NA has tapped two Rhode Islanders to help grow its wealth-management division.
Charles M. Sullivan III has been named vice president, investment advisor of TD Bank Wealth Private Client Group and Palmira G. Azevedo assumes the position of vice president, relationship manager. Both Rhode Island residents, they will serve the bank’s Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts markets.
Sullivan, with 30 years of banking and wealth-management experience, was formerly employed by Citizens Bank’s Private Wealth Group for eight years, according to a press release. His new responsibilities include serving high-net worth and institutional clients with personal wealth management services through TD Bank, according to the release.
Azevedo, who also worked with Citizens Bank as a private wealth manager, has 24 years of experience in wealth management and banking, according to TD Bank.
“Azevedo will provide high-net worth clients with a custom wealth management experience leveraging TD Wealth’s holistic client service model,” according to the bank. “Working with TD Wealth’s Investment Advisors and Trust Advisors, she will proactively manage and invest her clients’ assets and introduce them to the full range of wealth management solutions available to meet their specific financial objectives.”
