PROVIDENCE – TD Bank announced Thursday the promotion of Frank Casale who will take over as regional vice president for Rhode Island and southern Massachusetts.
Casale, who joined TD Bank in 2012 as a commercial banking team leader, works in Providence and is now responsible for overseeing all the bank’s commercial and retail banking activity and lending across the region, according to a press release.
Casale, a 1986 graduate of Rhode Island College, grew up in Cranston and has 27 years of experience in banking and lending in New England.
He will now manage the bank’s commercial and business banking teams and partner with colleagues in retail, commercial and government banking, according to the release.
Casale, of Warwick, previously served as a market manager in commercial enterprise banking with Citizens Bank and as a business banking executive with Sovereign Bank – now Santander Bank – both in Providence.
He serves as vice chairman of the Rhode Island College School of Management Advisory Board, on the Miriam Hospital Board of Governors, the Providence Center Board of Directors and Ocean State Business Development Authority Board of Trustees, according to the release.
