CHERRY HILL, N.J. – TD Bank has been named the top bank in the Northeast for small business customer satisfaction, according to a 2013 J.D. Power study, which measured eight factors, ranging from product offerings to problem resolution.

TD Bank performed particularly well on product offerings, facilities and account information, according to results of the study released by the bank Oct. 30.

On the small business banking customer satisfaction index ranking, TD Bank earned 786 out of a possible 1,000 points on the Northeast region segment of the national study.

“We’re thrilled to be recognized by our small business customers as a leader in providing a more satisfying banking experience for our customers,” said TD Bank Head of Commercial and Small Business Banking Fred Graziano. “Our employees are focused on delivering legendary customer service and products that customers have come to expect from us.”

TD Bank moved into the Rhode Island market in 2010 and currently has seven branches, which the bank calls “stores,” located in Barrington, Cranston, East Providence, Johnston, Pawtucket, Providence and Warwick.

Other banks included in the survey that serve Rhode Island are Bank of America, which ranked sixth; Citizens Bank, which ranked eighth; and Sovereign Bank (now re-branded Santander Bank), which came in at 10th place in customer satisfaction in the Northeast region.
