Tech Collective, Bridge Technical Talent holding ‘winter warmth drive’

PROVIDENCE – Gently used or new coats, scarves, gloves, hats, socks and footwear are being accepted for Tech Collective and Bridge Technical Talent’s “winter warmth drive” throughout January.
Tech Collective, Rhode Island’s industry association for bioscience and information technology, said in a press release that all donations will be delivered to Goodwill Industries of Rhode Island.
Collection boxes can be found at Tech Collective, 166 Valley St., Rising Sun Mills Building 3, Providence; Bridge Technical Talent, 650 Ten Rod Road, North Kingstown; and ChartWise Medical Systems, 1174 Kingstown Road, South Kingstown.
Companies also can host their own collection box. Tech Collective and Bridge staff will provide boxes and pick up and deliver all items.
“Tech Collective is pleased to be partnering with Bridge Technical Talent, our industry members and our communities at large on this invaluable initiative,” Kathie Shields, executive director of Tech Collective, said in a statement. “Together, we hope to be able to multiply our contributions and impact to offer Rhode Island families comfort and warmth.”
