Tech Collective to hold grand opening celebration

PROVIDENCE – Tech Collective will hold a grand opening celebration on June 4 at its new location at 166 Valley St., building 3.
The event, which will feature a ribbon cutting, will be held from 4 to 7 p.m.
“Our historic 8,500-square-foot space will serve as an industry hub featuring a training facility, event space and collaboration space and equipment,” Tech Collective said.
Tech Collective recently made the move to the Rising Sun Mills, a space Dassault Systemes vacated when it moved to Johnston last year. Tech Collective’s previous space at Davol Square became too small for the technology and bioscience industry association’s needs.

In addition, Tech Collective is publicizing an internship seminar for employers on May 28 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the New England Institute of Technology’s East Greenwich campus. The seminar is free and hosted by the Newport Chamber of Commerce and bridge.jobs. Registration can be found here.
