Small businesses are usually too small to support their own tech staff to fix computers or software problems as they arise. Frank Anzivino, an IT specialist, opened his tech-support business, AnziTech, last August, with the goal of providing personalized assistance in identifying problems that get in the way of business.

The Lincoln-based operation is focused on small businesses, as well as individuals.

Anzivino offers mobile service and handles both Apple and personal computers, including the operating systems. Virus removal, Windows installation and support, and training are part of his services.

Previously a consultant for a large bank, Anzivino said computer problems run the gamut, from systems that are slow to those that won’t work at all due to viruses or malware.

“It’s a specialty like anything else,” he said. •
