Drop by the University of Rhode Island’s Providence Campus gallery to view an ongoing, traveling mural exhibit depicting the war in Afghanistan. “Windows and Mirrors: Reflections on a war in Afghanistan,” is a collaboration of more than 40 artists from around the world that each design, by themselves or with a group of artists, one of 52 murals that make up a large display memorializing civilian casualties in Afghanistan. The exhibit also includes drawings by high school students in Kabul who were asked to depict their everyday realities.
